Program Overview
The program is conducted for a minimum duration of one semester (atleast) or up to a maximum of one academic year (2 semesters). It involves credit courses. Students can choose from a wide range of courses which are offered by 12 faculties in Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS). This program is offered to both undergraduate and postgraduate (coursework mode or research programme).It also offered online classes in a certain faculties.

Eligibitity
- Enrolled as an active student (Undergraduate/Postgraduate Coursework) in home university
- Have completed at least two (2) semester of study in home university
- Have good academic standing with CGPA not less than 2.75 or equivalent
- Have good English proficiency in speaking and writing
- Applicant has evidence of sufficient fund to support himself/herself while studying in UNIMAS
- Obtain support letter from student’s Academic Adviser supporting the application
- Applicant must be nominated by the partner university/institution through the International Office

APPLICANT'S ELIGIBILITY
IMPORTANT NOTES
- Review the host universities requirements for detailed information on exchange such as how to apply, courses available, academic calendar, funding, and living COSTS.
- Discuss with your Program Coordinator/ International Liaison Officer on exchange matters such as your degree requirement and credit transfer.

Registered as a full-time student and enrolled in an undergraduate program

Possess a good command of the English Language

Meet good academic standing as outlined in the current

Must agree to abide by the rules and regulations of UNIMAS or host university

Agree to be responsible for the cost incurred

APPLICATION PROCESS
- Please fill up the UNIMAS Outbound application form. Applicants may be required to fill up the application form of the partner university.
- Submit your applications UNIMAS Global via the Faculty Office (Deputy Dean of Undergraduate) for approval before the due date of the nearest intake of the partner university.
- The application will be screened by UNIMAS Global and to be submitted for nomination to the host institution before the deadline.
- Offer letter to the successful applicants will be issued by the host university.
- UNIMAS Global will facilitate the pre-departure arrangements for the successful students by giving pre-departure briefing, assist with matters such as visa application, and health insurance.
REQUIREMENTS
What are the requirements for the application?
- Outbound Mobility Application form
- International: A photocopy of passport’s front page
- Local: A photocopy of identity card (MyKad)
- Latest academic transcript (complete)
- Passport size photo (recent)
- Brief curriculum vitae (CV)
- Any other relevant documents, if requested by the host university

VISA INFORMATION
- Visa will be coordinated by the host university.
- Upon acceptance, the host university will be contact with the student and advise accordingly on the procedures.
- Different countries have different visa application procedures.
